KENNETH MADER

Kenneth Mader has been involved in the movie business for many years, having begun his career in his native Chicago on such films as The Blues Brothers, My Bodyguard, The Killing Floor and The Roommate, to name a few. He has since become an award-winning director and editor who has cut and/or directed numerous projects, from commercials and a sitcom pilot to award-winning music videos and a successful feature film.

He recently completed the 35mm short film Passing Darkness featuring Andrea Thompson of NYPD Blue fame and Stargate SG-1's Don S. Davis, is attached to direct a psychological thriller entitled Zali’s Crush (which he also co-wrote) with actors Dan Lauria and Armin Shimerman aboard, and will be directing the "wraparound" segments of the anthology film Dead Stop starring John Rhys Davies, Michael Shanks and Robert Picardo. He also directed and edited a music video for the independent Dark Star Records label which hit the Top-10 on the national CVC rock charts.

His feature Carnivore was recently acquired by 20th Century Fox and has become a domestic home video hit with up to twelve copies on the shelves of Hollywood Video Stores nationwide, deals with iNDemand pay-per-view (where it enjoyed a healthy 52% buy rate) along with TVN pay-per-view, numerous territories licensed internationally including Germany, and a cable deal pending. Carnivore also received a Selection Committee Commendation in the independent feature category at the 11th International Festival of Fantastic Films in Manchester, England, a Merit Award in the B-Movie Film Festival, and won a Crystal Award of Excellence for editing and an Award of Distinction for directing in the 5th Annual Communicator Awards.

As a screenwriter he is currently involved in two development deals, the most prominent with producer Morris Ruskin of Los Angeles-based Shoreline Entertainment, the man directly responsible for bringing Glengarry Glen Ross to the screen. He has also optioned two of his original screenplays, was a semi-finalist in the Annual Writer’s Network Screenplay & Fiction Competition, is a founding member and former President of the Chicago Screenwriters Network (which he co-founded along with Third Watch creator Edward Allen Bernero), took part in the Women in Film and Television/Chicago’-s mentoring program, and is a member of the Hampton's Table and the Film Artists Network in Los Angeles. He is represented by Joann Carol of the Monteiro Rose Dravis Agency. An effective producer as well, he has numerous projects in development and is a tireless creative force with an intense passion for film and the industry that shows dramatically in his work.






JODY ARENSBERG
Writer-Producer-Actor

Jody first started writing her own material while studying acting at the Larry Moss Studio in Santa Monica, CA. She moved to Los Angeles from Bellevue, Washington where she grew up. After graduating from Bellevue High School, she headed south to study business at the University of Southern California. It was during those four years her interest in the entertainment industry sparked. Upon graduation from USC, Jody returned home to be close to family. She took an internship with KSTW, working with the producers of the Ranger Charlie and Rosco Show, a children’s television program. They gave her an opportunity to write public service announcements, two of which aired throughout the Northwest and parts of Canada. That summer she also began taking acting classes. Jody has performed in many Seattle theatres such as Renton Civic, Encore Playhouse, and Burien Little Theatre. In addition, she has worked as an actor in commercials and industrials in both Seattle and Portland.

Jody currently lives in Los Angeles, California. She moved to L.A. to further pursue acting. She has performed in many independent films, such as her own, as well as programs for the History Channel and the Discovery Health Channel. She also enjoys performing on stage and has worked in several L.A. theatres.

Although she has written a number of scripts, "Father’s Day" marks her debut as a writer/producer. She looks forward to many more films and is now in pre-production on a romantic comedy that she also wrote. Ken Mader has teamed up with her again to direct this project. Jody is a member of the Screen Actors Guild, AFTRA, and Women in Film.



BARBARA KERR CONDON
Actor

Barbara has been performing on stage and screen for many years. Among her credits include co-starring roles on NBC’s ER, CBS’s 7th Heaven, Lifetime’s Unsolved Mysteries, NBC’s The Others and repeat appearances on The Tonight Show. Film roles range from appearances in Universal’s Red Dragon and the Coen brothers’ Intolerable Cruelty, to supporting roles in films like Cineville’s The Affair.

In addition to acting, Barbara has been quite involved in the role of "producer." In the mid-1980’s, Barbara became the Director of The Performing Arts Theatre for the U.S. Army’s facility in Worms, Germany while her husband was in active service. She has also worked on the board of Women In Film and collaborated on several public service announcements for battered women’s awareness. After moving to Los Angeles, Barbara placed her attention on her own projects. Her short film Doria, which she produced and starred in, was a winner of the Flickering Image Festival and Actorsite Film Festival in 2004. Her most recent film, Family, is in post production, made in connection with Project Create for which Barbara is an Associate Producer.


SHARON FARBER
Composer

Sharon Farber, originally from Israel, has received critical acclaim as a composer in the Concert world as well as that of Film and Television. She brings to her music influences from her Middle Eastern heritage as well as her extensive knowledge of Classical and Western music.

In the Film and TV industries, Sharon has been working with such prestigious companies as NBC (Emmy Award-Winning TV series Starting Over), Showtime (In a Class Of His Own, starring Lou Diamond Phillips; Call Me Sirr, starring Michael Clarke), the WB (Superman & Batman), as well as writing music for independent features. In 1998, she won the Telly Award for best score for the docu-drama series California 2000.

Miss Farber has continued writing concert and choir music in parallel to her film scoring career. She has been commissioned by many prestigious groups and her works have been premiered in New York, Germany, Los Angeles, and Israel.
